Hi,

I've been using the Shareware Assistant for several months now - great product...except that PayPal has changed their email notification messages for some reason (they used to be plain text messages), and are now they are sending me HTML.

Perhaps I selected HTML notifications somehow when I generated my latest BuyNow button and caused the problem, since SWA used to work great when the notififcation messages were just text.

In any event, how can I get SWA to work again with PayPal again? I've tried everything, but it doesn't like the new HTML messages I'm getting from PayPal.

I have sent a mail to you. We need your help to get the new Paypal mail format. Have you received it?

We have update the program to process the HTML mail, but we are not sure about the address format changes. So, we need your help to confirm the new format. Thanks.

I have sent them. You should get a couple of PayPal accounts and do some testing of your own - it's free...just post a transaction, then refund your self...no problem.

I tested with the latest version and now it generates a "0 Serials" message where there should be an Armadillo license key string...

Unfortunately, I accidentally left this version running and had an actual customer receive this bogus serial number message in the email that SWA sends, and they filed a complaint against me with PayPal.

This really needs to be fixed. SWA is a good product, but it needs more testing (at least with keeping it current with PayPal).

I sent Robert three recent PayPal .EML files that should help.

Hi,

The latest 1.3.3 version now properly parses and processes the new PayPal HTML page formats, but it won't generate the Armadillo keys now. Instead of creating the key, it inserts "Total 0 Serials" into the email message that is generated, and the customer database entry has no key information in it.

This is becoming frustrating, and I need SWA back up and running to properly process PayPal orders again. PLEASE!

We already fixed this bug, please download SWA from our website again and try.

I needed to uninstall and reinstall from scratch (saved my customer.dat file, uninstalled, downloaded, reinstall, copied my customer.dat file back).

It definitely works great now with PayPal!!

How do I top up my prepaid paypal card from my paypal account? Can someone please tell me in idiot style - step by step how on earth I do this? I've looked all over my paypal account but can't find the option for it, doh! Many thanks.
